The Pharmaceutical Society of Zambia warmly congratulates Hon. Prof. Roma Chilengi, MP, on his appointment as Minister of Health by His Excellency Mr Hakainde Hichilema, President of the Republic of Zambia. Hon. Prof. Chilengi’s distinguished contribution to public health, medical research and health-system leadership inspires confidence in his capacity to provide strategic leadership to the Ministry of Health. The Society looks forward to working closely with him in advancing pharmaceutical services, strengthening the medicines supply system, developing the pharmacy workforce and promoting equitable access to safe, effective and quality-assured healthcare.
